Why now

Three forces converged in the last 18 months.

Consumer AI crossed a threshold.

Visual models like CLIP and modern multimodal systems made aesthetic similarity search cheap and fast. The demo that returns six match listings in under three seconds would have needed a GPU farm in 2020.

Real estate search didn't keep up.

MLS feeds still describe properties with the same fields they did in 1995. The gap between how buyers feel about homes and how the search engine understands them is a decade wide.

Inspiration moved to images.

Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok are where luxury buyers now discover what they want. That behavior has no native path into a listing service. HausMatch is the bridge.

The back end is still seeded on mock data; the front end is the real thing. Phase 1 replaces the mock set with a live CLIP pipeline on the full MLS feed.

How this is being built

HausMatch is the company. Praxis is the build partner.

Praxis handles product engineering and AI infrastructure through commercial launch. Greg Dunaway (Managing Partner, Praxis) is operating partner on HausMatch and the day-to-day contact. Justin Morrow leads technical architecture through the Praxis engagement.

This structure lets HausMatch move at build-shop speed without carrying the full-time engineering cost of a seed-stage team.
